I believe that light, life and vision are key elements in photography. Actually, it is
my opinion that they are the three most important elements. That is why I took the nontraditional path of avoiding naming the studio after myself — Detrick Branston Photography. Now, don't get me wrong — that name is very smooth and just rolls off the tongue, don't you think? :-) However, it doesn't convey the real purpose of the art to me, nor the substance sought in a name that emphasized why I do what I do.
It is with this desire for substance that attention to detail is given. As your photographer,
I will use light, whether existing or artificial, to capture the life emanating from you and loved ones surrounding you on your special day. Together, our combined visions will result in imagery that will captivate and be treasured for years to come.
